The Ethiopian Trading Business Corporation received the recognition for creating a conducive working environment at the end of the 2016 Employer and Worker Conference held from December 4 to 6, 2023 G.C under the theme of "Social Consultation and Higher Productivity for Social Justice" in celebration of the century of Ethiopia becoming a member of the World Labor Organization.

The corporation was recognized as one of the institutions that excelled in this recognition program in which more than 200 private and public development organizations, employers and workers' federations competed for creating favorable working conditions in the agriculture, industry and service sectors.

Mr. Yirgashewa Teshome, Deputy CEO of the Corporation received the award from the Honorable Mrs. Muferihat Kamil, Minister of Labor and Skills. At the award ceremony, the Honorable Minister thanked all the stakeholders who contributed greatly to the creation of a conducive working environment and the development of peaceful industrial relations.
