ETBC planned to purchase 3,088,218 quintals of basic products worth 11,051,636,076 Birr from the country in the fiscal year 2022/23 and purchased 2,611,169 quintals worth 9,271,852,684 Birr and achieved 85% of the plan in terms of quantity and 84% in terms of price.

In the last fiscal year, the corporation planned to distribute 3,248,878 quintals of basic products and services worth 12,584,827,585 Birr in the domestic and foreign markets, and distributed 3,993,671 quintals of products and services worth 13,953,579,322 Birr in the domestic and foreign markets. The sales volume is 14 percent higher than the same period sales of the last fiscal year.

Concerning the domestic market, the plan was to provide 3,094,073 quintals of products and services worth Birr 10,795,886,282 and distributed 2,832,037 quintals worth Birr 8,713,617,305 and achieved 92 percent of the plan in terms of quantity and 81 percent in terms of price.

On the other hand, the corporation planned to sell 47,000 quintals of grain, coffee and fruit for 904,975,000 Birr in the foreign market and 633,810 quintals of various grains, pulses, oilseeds, coffee and fruit sold for 2,506,694,885 Birr to international aid organizations and countries, representing 1,349 percent of the plan.
